Where AI Fits
You're expected to have a view on AI. Get one in 10 days.
A focused review of what AI is already doing inside your organization, where it can genuinely help, what needs fixing first, and what should wait.
Know where to act, and where not to.
You're probably in one of these spots
- You've just taken on a bigger role, and AI is on the agenda whether you chose it or not.
- The board, the CEO, or your peers are asking what the plan is, and you don't have a clear answer yet.
- Your teams are already using AI tools, and you're not certain which ones, for what, or who is accountable.
- A tool has been rolled out, but the support stopped at "here are your logins." Nobody has said what it's actually for, how to use it well, or what good looks like.
- You've seen plenty of tools and pitches, and you can't tell which ones matter.
None of this means you're behind. It means you need a clear picture before you commit time, money, or your name to the next move.
What this is
A 10-day review that gives you that picture. I don't start with tools. I start with the work: what's already happening, where the friction is, and where AI would genuinely help versus where it would only make a weak process move faster.
You finish knowing what to do next, what not to do yet, and who owns what.
What you get
- A map of current AI use across your organization, including use nobody formally approved
- Clear ownership: who is responsible for what, and where that is unclear
- The real opportunities: where AI can improve the work, and where it adds little value
- What to fix first, before adding anything new
- What should wait, so attention stays on the things that matter now
- A short written brief you can take to your CEO, board or team
- A 60-minute walkthrough to go through the findings and decide the next move
How it works
- 01
Scoping call (20 minutes). We confirm it's a fit and agree what the review will cover.
- 02
Days 1-7: The review. I speak with the people closest to the work and look at how it's really done, not just how it's documented.
- 03
Days 8-9: The brief. I turn what I found into a short, plain-language document.
- 04
Day 10: The walkthrough. We go through it together, and you leave knowing where to act and where not to.
Why me
You get a clear picture and a sensible next step, so you can answer the hard questions with confidence.
I look at AI as an operating issue, not just a technology issue. I've seen this from both sides of the table: on the operating side, in a financial regulatory authority and in professional services, and on the board side, across public, private and non-profit organizations. I've led innovation and sponsored it.
That means I'm looking at more than whether a tool works. I'm looking at whether it fits the work, whether people can use it well, who is accountable, and whether the organization is ready for what comes next.
